Prescriptions

Repeat Prescriptions are Medications which appear on the Reverse of your Prescription which your doctor would like you to continue on a regular basis.

Please allow up to Three Working Days for a Prescription Request

Remember: Medication reviews are due Every 6 Months, please book in a review with our Clinical Pharmacist on time to prevent delays in medication authorisation.

How to Request a Repeat Prescription

Repeat prescriptions may be ordered in several ways:

Email

If you do not have an online services account or would like to request medications that are not on your repeat prescription, please email your requests to: stgeorges.prescriptions@nhs.net

All email requests must include your Full Name, Date of Birth, Nominated Pharmacy, Full Details of Requested Items (Name,Dosage,Quantity etc.)

Online

You can order your prescription through online services account such as the

NHS App or SystmOnline

It is easier than you think and we at the practice will help you to set this up, meaning you can order 24/7. For further details on how to access online ordering please speak to us.

Nominated Pharmacy

(For vulnerable patients only) Pharmacy can request your Repeat Prescription on your behalf by email to stgeorges.prescriptions@nhs.net

Unfortunately we are unable to take prescription requests over the phone as mistakes are
more likely due to:
• Confusion with drug name pronunciation
• Errors made when writing out the request
